Refund Policy - Gifts You Like

Made-to-Order Products

All products at Gifts You Like are made to order specifically for you. Because each item is custom-produced after purchase, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for non-defective items. This includes cases where the wrong size or color was ordered, or if you simply change your mind. Custom products and personalized items are final sale.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We stand behind the quality of our products and will provide a free replacement or full refund for manufacturing defects or shipping damage.

You have 30 days after receiving your item to report any issues.

What We Cover:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Damaged items during shipping
  • Incorrect items sent

What We Don't Cover:

  • Wrong size or color ordered by customer
  • Items no longer wanted or needed
  • Minor variations in print placement (within 0.5" tolerance)

How to Request a Refund or Replacement

To start a return, contact us at publishinginnovations@gmail.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number in the subject line.

In your email, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photo(s) of the defective or damaged item
  • Brief description of the issue
  • Receipt or proof of purchase

If multiple items with the same design are affected, please provide a photo or video showing all items together.

We will review your claim and determine the best resolution. If a return is needed, we'll send you a return shipping label with instructions on how and where to send your package.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Custom products and made-to-order items (unless defective)
  • Items where wrong size or color was selected by customer
  • Sale items or gift cards
  • Perishable goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

Exchanges

Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to request a refund for the defective item, and once approved, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period

If merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification. However, please note that custom-made products may be excluded from this right under EU consumer protection laws. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return (if applicable) and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Delivery Issues

If your order was not successfully delivered due to an incorrect address provided at checkout or other delivery issues beyond our control, we can offer either a reprint (with shipping costs applied) or a partial refund.
